CAMBOFEST rediscovered and brought back to life the vintage 'Royal' cinema hall in Kampot, Cambodia, for its 2009 edition; once a popular cinema house in the 60's, the 'Royal' had been forgotten by all except some local Cambodians. Prior to CamboFest, the 'Royal' had remained unused since 1989. (see Blog for more)
